No doubt it's good. Seems like earlier vintages were better. The 14 is big. Lots of acid but I feel it is overwhelming. Perfect wine for a fat steak. Long finish but not much fruit.

Super tannic, lots of sediment and pretty grippy on the mouth.

It’s amazing how time can bring a wine together into a beautiful seamless whole. Though the fruit has taken a step back, what is left is a savory, delicious expression of the peak south of Lake Hennessy.

Beautifully balanced Syrah; food friendly - had it with Greek cuisine and it went very well.

Dark plum & raspberry fruits on the nose, hint of charcoal. Definitely black tea on the finish - this one improved significantly after an hour or so decant - Pritchard Hill is a special place - if you are a Syrah fan find some of this and lock it down

Aromas of raspberries and pepper and flavors that then include blackberries, pepper and chocolate with fairly strong tannins that ties all the flavors together in the finish

This wine exudes the terroir of the mountain slope south of Lake Hennessey. The cool breeze coming off the water, the 100+ year old olive trees and pomegranate trees that surround the vineyard are all there in the nose. The palate shows silky smooth inky dark fruit, but without the overly tannic bite of a cab, and a funky earthiness reminiscent of a pinot. Delicious, complex wine.

2010 continues to improve with age. Great memory from when I first tried this at the vineyard with Eric.

Blackberry. Very drinkable but nothing that makes it reflective of the terroir.
