Greek Red Blend (90% Mandilaria and 10% Mavrotragano) from Santorini. Vines are basket pruned to protect the grapes. Barely anything on the nose. Fruit forward flavors of dark cherry, cranberry and plum. Hints of leather and earth. Spicy and toasty on the finish. Fine tannins but a bit astringent and tart (like vinegar) due to very high acidity levels. Medium bodied and interesting to try. Thank You-Ron B!
