Aromatically intense, the 2022 Rosso di Montalcino holds nothing back. It's vividly fruit forward yet with a burst of wild herbs and exotic spice to balance. This is harmonious and pure on the palate, with ample energy and verve as a cascade of crisp wild berry fruits swirl throughout. Only gently tannic yet full of youthful tension, the 2022 finishes fresh yet potent. (Eric Guido, Vinous, September 2024)

A high happy factor because we are delayed at EWR. Out of all the overpriced wines ($78 for this) we kept it simple.

100% Sangiovese, Ruby with light edges and aromas of red fruits and woodsy spice. On the palate ripe strawberry and cherry flavors with slight earthy spice notes. Fine tannins on a smooth ending with mineral tones on the finish. Nice value.

One of the better Rosso’s we have had in a while. More depth to it. More body. Still at the core a young Sangiovese Grosso that is fruit forward and not very complex.

Vintage 2015 - Beautiful wine! But I did not recognise its origin... very playfull, good acidity, cacao and mocca. To me it had a Burgundian charm.

Nice acidity and earthy green olive aromatics...good pairing with tonight's cold pesto pasta salad!
