🍷This Sangiovese-based wine was a lovely complement to roasted pork shoulder on toast from @barlagrassa
👁 This wine is medium ruby.
👃 On the nose this wine has medium intensity of developing aromas including notes of blackberry bramble, plum, fig, black cherry, anise, licorice, fennel, white pepper, leather, clove, nutmeg, cedar, and earth.
👄 On the palate this wine is dry, it has medium(+) acidity, a full body, high alcohol, medium(+) tannins and medium(+) intensity in flavors consistent with the nose. It has a medium(+) finish.
In sum, this is a delicious wine with a strong structure and great concentration of aromas and flavors. It could benefit with further aging to fully integrate all dimensions and add complexity.
