Decent sangiovese and opens nicely. Went great with red meat which brought out the acidity

Kirsch, heavy herbaceous notes, a touch of leather and cedar. Silky soft tannins. Delicious wine and I can't wait to try the 2010! - 2009 vintage

Nice and ripe, rich, coffee, chocolate, bright slightly jammy fruit, touch metallic on the nose, making way towards something a little floral. Lovely on the palate.

Beautiful Brunello. I'd drink this twice.

Still has a plenty of life left. Traditional style and flavor profile. Tannins have soften and drinking well now. Decanted for 30 minutes.

60 min decant and probably needed more time as the first glass was still closed and then it opened up.

Initially thin and underwhelming but after that 2nd glass oh man it opened up surprisingly very well.

More elegant and softer brunello but so good and keeps you coming back for more.

Beautiful garnet color which should be Brunello. Aroma is a bit spicy due to still young, 2009? A bit dry, means still have lots of tanning. But after marriage with beef, it turned into calm in dry and good balanced taste. In this vantage, more than two hours decanting should be necessary. @1750, Wineplus-TH, 170704-170909

Just turning brickish on the edges. Decanted for 90 min. Rose petals and floral perfume aromas. Cherry, and tar on the palate and the tannins soften after the decant. Smooth and yummy!
