Ardbeg, pushing the definition of Scotch. A bit of a jumble, and very strong. Maybe I'm just not ready.

The 2016 Committee release. The Dark Cove is high proof at 55%. Add a wee splash of water to the Cove. It pays to be the lad that is there to do the receiving when the truck pulls up!

My cold is persisting, so it is going to have to answer to another shot of old peaty. The dark cove is a good quality Ardbeg, but a little boring. The 10 still excites me every time, even after 2 decades of drinking it. Sadly, it does not make as good of a toddy as the Ardbog. I trust the medicinal value is not diminished!

Peaty with a slight finish of sherry and coffee. Delicious!
