The 2013 Gattinara is a fabulous introduction to these wines. Beautifully lifted and medium in body, the 2013 is supremely elegant in every way. Crushed red berries, rose petals, mint, pine and wild flowers are waft out of the glass in this striking, super-expressive, entry-level Gattinara from the Antoniolo family. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, April 2020)

2022/1. Having enjoyed umpteen bottles of this stuff, this one finally felt like it might be entering a secondary, less open phase. There was more tarry earth showing, but less fruit and more structure. Still, as someone who loves traditional Nebbiolo at all ages, there was plenty to enjoy for me.

202 spring. I keep drinking this as you get an awful lot of character and elegance at a price that, for nebbiolo, is more than fair

This was stupendous, the best bottle of Antoniolo that I’ve enjoyed. It had everything, plenty of it, and in proportion - open with plenty of tarry fruit and complex, balanced, substantial. More please!

Good material but seems like a little more time would allow the pieces to come together more
