Popped and poured; no formal notes. Deep and dark with an abundance of ripe fruit. Fairly monolithic and not particularly complex. This is all about the fruit. Structure is pretty easy going but enough to keep it real. This is a crowd pleaser. Drink now.

Floral on the nose. Not heavy at all. Tad sweet but not overly sweet. Okay table wine. Not worth getting again but drinkable.

One-note and buttery alone, opened up a bit more alongside braised calamari, pleasant but not notable.

Very excited about the wines coming out of Soria in Ribera del Duero. This is a great entry-level example from the man that brought us Dominio de Atauta. This is pure fruit with good extraction, balanced acidity and easy to drink when craving a full bodied wine with freshness that won’t overwhelm the palate on a hot day.
