Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore Corvina Blend

Deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits and smoky herb spice, made from mostly Corvina grapes. On the palate flavors of ripe black cherry, blackberry, dried floral herbs and nutty notes. Medium body with lively acidity, fine tannins on medium finish ending with cacao, smoky tobacco and ripe fruit. Drink to enjoy now, minimal aging benefit.

Plums in the nose and palate. Wine is a bit harsh and doesn’t seem to improve with food.

Not one of my favorites. Perfume after taste

Not my favorite example of one of my favorite wines. Lacked integration despite having many of the right components.

Good Italian table wine. Not one I will seek out for $20 a bottle.

Loads of red fruit, plenty of spice, subtle hints of raisin and vanilla. Great pizza and pasta wine. This one is still nice and bright, love the red fruit. Simple and quaffable.

Very light and fruity. Lauren likes as everyday drinking wine. Light bodied, easy drinking.

Very drinkable pizza and pasta Valpolicella. Enough fruit and structure to make it an everyday value drinkable wine.

Good. Would buy again
