Full, earthy, structured.

Burgundian as hell.

Carbonic fruit. Strawberry and raspberry jam. Gassy and bit dirty, but blew off.

As expected, this opens with air to reveal the pretty side of 2014 with no over ripe notes. Perfume and classic Gamay brilliance of fruit. Love the un- tannic texture. Impressive!

I rarely give a perfect score ( I'm often close though). In a blind tasting 14 Gamays, I gave this wine 20pts out of 20. Perfect!
Everything I want from a Beaujolais, super complex, deep, controlled, pleasing in every aspect. Wow!

[Thevenet Cuvée Centenaire Morgon] Sour cherry, rose petal, banana, bubble gum, carbonic. Elevated acidity. Called it Gamay from Beaujolais.

I wanted to love this but it had reduction that just would not go away. Still a fun drink.

Medium garnet-purple with a clear edge. Light nose
