The 2018 Red Wine Two Blondes is intense, blasting up with a seductive Merlot-centric bouquet of wild blueberries, lavender and sweet smoke before nuances of wet stone and baking spice emerge in the glass. This is a total darling, silky-smooth and elegant, with generous ripe red and blue fruits contrasted by saline-tinged acidity and the slightest tug of sour citrus. It finishes incredibly long and like a basket full of wild berries, staining the palate while also leaving it with an unbelievably fresh impression. There's a balanced structure here, but also enough fruit to nearly mask the tannins at this young stage. Total beauty. (Eric Guido, Vinous, March 2023)

Sipping Fine Wine

Deep Ruby with aromas of rich dark fruit and herb spice. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and currants with herb and nutty floral notes. Fine tannins, nice mouthfeel, well balanced with acidity, long finish ending with fruit, mineral and herbs. Nice!

Tonight is the winter solstice, the longest night of the year and the weekend before Christmas. I have opened the 2013 Andrew Will Two Blondes Vineyard Yakima Valley Bordeaux Blend. 44% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon and 22% Cabernet Franc.

On the nose is a stunningly juicy dark fruit of blackberry, black cherry, black currant, milk chocolate, violet, vanilla, cigar box and dark rock earth.

The palate reveals lack cherry, raspberry, plum, green bell pepper, black pepper, red currant, violet, graphite and some earth notes.

This wine is what I have come to expect from the Andrew Will Winery and Chris Camarda. This is a full bodied wine with a polished texture that is well balanced. There is medium + acidity and medium + fine tannins that lead to a long clean fresh finish. Another outstanding wine from Andrew Will. Have a wonderful weekend leading into Christmas please be safe and enjoy family and friends. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

50% Merlot, 30% Cab and the rest a blend of other BDX varietals. It’s a lithe and pretty wine. All red fruited and still with tons of structure. Just entered its drinking window.

Andrew Will wine tasting tonight at the storage facility. My knowledge and experience with WA state wines is small, so this was a great evening to learn and enjoy some very good wines.

Notice the alcohol differences! The 2010 was my preference and it was due to the more balanced feel of the red fruits. I got more strawberry and rhubarb here, and the age gave it some cedar and smoky flavor.

Andrew Will wine tasting tonight at the storage facility. My knowledge and experience with WA state wines is small, so this was a great evening to learn and enjoy some very good wines.

Very aromatic. A tad floral...notes of violet and herbs. Purple in color, but mainly black in fruit color...blackberries, currant, black cherries. I preferred the '10 over this '13. But when it comes to two blondes, I have a feeling
@Bill Bender doesn't discriminate πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚.

50 Merlot, 30 Cabernet Sauvignon, 20 Cabernet Franc. Powerful dark fruited aromatics, yet more of a sweet red plum & bing cherry character on the palate. Fruit is in front of structure in youth here. As always a great Bordeaux blend from Andrew Will.

Blackberry, cassis, eucalyptus, mocha, vanilla, mossy earth, oak and hints of baking spice. Good structure and well-integrated tannins.
