Nose : pure lemon. Mineral. So clean.
Palate : amazing texture. Delicious. Lemon rock candy elements (obviously dry). As this opens the density is more apparent.
45 minutes in this is approaching “oh shit” levels. The nose is more intense. Penetrating. Long. Which is not a word usually used to describe aromatics. The palate is really intense. Like drinking a fast moving river.

Beautiful wine. Quite rich - this is not the Rheingau but more like the Wachau. Same soil though Granite. Essentially black forest Riesling it’s right there. Apricots, herbaceous, meyer lemon, nice minerality, quite tannic for a white, in a way classy.

A beautiful expression of Riesling. Amazing nose, layered purity of flower, light citrus, herbs, with vibrancy and fabulous life in the mouth. The nose on this wine is just pure Riesling.
