Alsace Pinot Noir

I could see where this is going, but tainted with ethyl acetate and wafts of subtle nail polish.

Wonderfully paired with lamb. Rich and full and yet a Pinot.

Peppery and full bodied, pairs well with chicken, beef, pork

Really lovely Pinot noir expression unlike others I’ve had. Full bodied but focused. Deep inky color. This maybe lives in between excellent Oregon Pinot and burgundy style. Part of a Weygandt Alsace 6-pack.

I can't recall ever having an Alsace pinot so figured I'd give this a shot for $18. Reminds me of an Oregon pinot with a touch of gamay. Super floral aromas. Raspberry, tart cherry, dried herbs, and sage with bright acidity and light tannins. If you like Oregon and Burgundy pinots then you'll enjoy this wine.

This wine was not created with the average American consumer in mind......can I get an AMEN? Aromatics are so lovely. Floral and succulent ripe berries, bright as this Spring day. Not for you mister red fools or mega purple addicts buts a worthy wine for a true enthusiast and a fab value.

Fresh fruits but not much on the mouth. Got better as it opened up. Light color. Medium acid. Medium body

I'm all about cool climate Pinot. But this was not good.
