Sep 10th, 2018Quite nice really but immediately makes me feel like it's just a grape (jacquère)that can't quite get there. Some lively green freshness and texture and edge then some dumber fleshy bits that steer it off course midpalate reminds me of chasselas then finishes nice enough but missing something extra. This isn't Mondeuse, delectable.

May 29th, 2015Medium straw in the glass with a very distinctive green tinge. Ocean spray aromas greet you initially but the fruit soon takes over. Green apples, quince, and honeysuckle. Butterscotch and lime zest. Terribly pretty.
Pure Jacquère from 70 year old vines in Savoie. Pleasing minerality with soft acidity. Exceedingly fresh, this is a lively and energetic wine. Displays enough depth and focus to keep you interested throughout. Honey, nuts, and dried herbs join those citrus notes from the nose on the palate. Pour a glass, sit it down and forget about it for a while. Let it warm up in the glass and you’ll be rewarded.
