Yeastiness with strawberry notes. Slightly oxidative but pleasant. Paired very nicely with many of dishes at Gaggan (spices).

Good length, nice fruit, overall good Rose' Champagne, but lacking in elegance and complexity. A bit too heavy on the strawberry notes.

This showed EPIC Pinot character like red burgundy--cranberries, raspberries, forest floor, roasted mushrooms--but in the context of a brut champagne? Awesome. And it's almost as dark as a red wine. Never had bubbles quite like it before.

What a nice, fresh bottle to finish off a stash of '02s. Notable bottle variation with these guys, but this was in the sweet spot. Electric acidity balanced with oxidation.
