This showed EPIC Pinot character like red burgundy--cranberries, raspberries, forest floor, roasted mushrooms--but in the context of a brut champagne? Awesome. And it's almost as dark as a red wine. Never had bubbles quite like it before.

What a nice, fresh bottle to finish off a stash of '02s. Notable bottle variation with these guys, but this was in the sweet spot. Electric acidity balanced with oxidation.
