Sonoma County Pinot Noir

Tart cherry and charcoal nose. Earthy mushrooms, earthy red cherry and piney forest floor.

Pale to medium ruby in color; cherries, raspberries, cloves, and a little allspice on the nose; medium plus acidity; low tannins; tastes like tart cherries, raspberry sauce, crushed gravel, and hibiscus with a long finish. I love this wine. Lots of complexity, balanced oak, and really enjoyable. Nellie doesn't like it.

Dark ruby color. Intense aromas of balsamic vinegar right out of the bottle. After it blows off a bit, dark cherry and oak fill the nose. Flavors of strawberries and cherries with hints of vanilla and dried herbs. Oaky finish. Medium-plus body. Ripe, bold and broad.

Lots of dark cherry, vanilla and savory sweetness. Drinks more like a Syrah than a Pinot in a fun way.

I wasn't expecting much, given the vintage, but really loved the intensity of fruit, cherries and pomegranates
