Feb 13th, 2023Another stellar vintage of this consistently outstanding Amarone! Blend of Corvina (70%), Rondinella (20%) and Croatina (10%). Dark crimson/garnet color. Aromas of cedar, dark cherry, black pepper and vanilla. Pallet is not overly jammy. Cooked plums, Asian spices and toasted coconut on the pallet. Touch of mint on the beautifully rich finish. Tannins are present but the texture is smooth and silky. Full bodied but well balanced and elegant. Excellent! Christmas Eve 2022.
