Estate Selection Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Pleasant but leaves me wishing for more depth.

Incredible floral nose with prominent notes of rose, plum, smoke or ash, piney forest floor and deep spice. Beautiful legs, and incredibly lively acidity even after 8 years, this could age for another 10! The color has just started to pale, and the palate is very lively, with prominent acidity, cranberry, ripe red fruits, and a serious meaty note showing up on the finish. Really a great wine hitting just fine!

Fresh cut wet cherry wood and petroleum on the nose, old world flair, slightly toasted vanilla, really nice wine.

Some sappy sweetness initially gives way to a more savory sauvage character.

Watermelon and pepper. Soft, dry and pairs well with most foods. 2010 $40 at Costco

Celebration bottle very nice smooth Pinot. A friends sister owns the winery we will really have to visit, it's so close!

Fruit is more cherry like and black and syrup-y. Also more earth and structure from stem tannins evolving.

A hint of Burgundian style. Ripe, light body, not much depth.

Unfiltered and cloudy on appearance. Spicy, red berry notes with an earthy, herby, soft mouthfeel. Not bad, just lacks the fruit I look for in a Pinot.
