Slightly spritzy on opening. A bit hot at 13.5 and didn't really fare well with anything but the cotechino and lentils. It's a big wine, broad shouldered riesling but still has some foresty notes and citrus fruits.

Alzinger is my favorite Austrian producer. His wines are very precise and minerally and not overly rich and over-the-top like some other top Austrian producers
