Wow. Very intense prune and raisin on the nose. Incredible presence on the palate. The intense sweetness leads to one of the longest finishes I have ever experienced. Layers of chocolate, caramel, spice, dried fruit that lasted 15-20 minutes.

Apr 10th, 2016Very intense aromas of raisins, toasted coconut, toasted pecans, leather, must, allspice, dark chocolate truffle, molasses, and honestly, like the cargo hold of an old ship, the kind you board as a tourist and immediately wonder what the f--- you're smelling.
The smell is outstanding, but we haven't decided if we like the taste or if it's just too funky. Intense, lingering, salty, tannic finish.
Casks averaging 80 years with some going back to 1729.
