The usual Portuguese blend, touriga this, touriga that... Cave dust, opening after an hour or two into foxy leather. Moist Tobacco, black cherry, bitter plum. Rounded fruit and tannins. Drink now through 2019..

Medium intensity on the nose with smoke and black cherry. Palate of ripe black cherry and some blueberry. A little tar on the finish. Medium body, tannins, and a shorter finish. Very nice for the price ($12.99)

3/21/8/4/2 + 50 = 89 pts

Ripe fruit, earthy notes, solid balance. Not pronounced, but holds well. Overall solid wine, great value @ $12 (PA Chairmans)
