Another quaffable RdM that improved over two days, gaining some weight and some character in the mid-palate...but not as exciting as the Ciacci or the Mocali from a few days back. A perfectly serviceable Sangiovese though.

Classic, elegant, appealing. Dried sour cherry, grilled fennel, tobacco, new leather, fresh earth, dried herbs, cracked black pepper. Medium-ish everything with bright, fresh acidity. Enjoyed on its own after dinner, but would have been killed with some fancy pizza.

Classic aromatic profile, very elegant on the palate if given proper aeration. Lovely acidity and succulent finish.

Pretty tannic. Sour cherries, raspberries, and a bit of pepper and smoke. Okay, but not my favorite. If you have some in your cellar, drink it now.
