A very approachable style. Medium bodied, limestone-mineral, cranberry, white peach. A crowd pleaser that would also be great with food.

The 2021 Sancerre La Moussiere was tasted as a finished wine still in tank and offers attractive purity and balance. There's tenderness through the mid palate, concentration and ripe fruit, which is no mean feat in the cool 2021 season. (Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, August 2022)

The 2020 Sancerre La Moussière is an easygoing wine offering clean, pure flavors of pineapple, grass and pear. It's full and rounded with a whopping 15% alcohol, which no doubt has boosted the texture and palate weight. (Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, August 2021)

Subtle lemon, crushed white stone, slight green tones, decent acidity.

As usual, this is a very good rendition. Nose has crisp apple and lemon-lime fruit, high-toned powdered stone, and a meadow flower note. So lively. Intense and vibrant in the mouth. There is a ton of crisp, ripe fruit, zingy acids, limestoney minerality. Floods the mouth with flavors and aromas. Round-textured at the same time. Long finish. Really fine. In 375.

Just terrific. Nose has the purest essence of ripe lemon-lime and crushed limestone. Not even a hint of unripe grass or cat pee. In the mouth, there is saliva-inducing bright but ripe acidity, and mouthfilling flavors. Gorgeous.

So lean, precise, and minerally. Nose is somewhat subdued, but gives up scent of lime zest and dry sea shells. A faint note of fresh green herbs. Loads of minerals in the mouth, with a lean and lingering finish. I’m drinking it as an aperitif, but it would shine with seared scallops.

Gorgeous nose. A harmony of mild fleshed ripe mango/spring hibiscus/with notes of minerality. My goodness... The balance is sublime. Cant quite place the top of the nose...almost butterscotch? This makes the shortlist.
