Alois Kracher
No. 9 Zwischen den Seen Auslese Trockenbeerenauslese Scheurebe
July 4th Friday was a total blowout! Killer bottles one after another. Here are just a few of the bottles we all enjoyed!
I’ve had AKracher wines twice before, and both have been courtesy of @Keith Fisher . Really fun to try next to the SQN Noble Man and very different. Much more floral and caramelized without being heavy. Toffee, honeysuckle, and light maple. This is still improving.

A wine that represents an extreme, but a good one. Astonishing depth and intensity. Apricot and toffee. Plenty of acid. Finish lasts forever.

Jun 11th, 2017Just crazy. Like no other and running out fast. From the late mastermind with honey and white flowers galore. Don't take this one lightly. A perfect 10 for me. If you ever find this. Never let it get away.

Feb 7th, 2015Opened yesterday, when it was breathtaking, notes from today. On the nose: candied ginger, molasses, cinnamon spice, honey. On the palate: lovely spice and acidity, good sweetness, but beautifully tempered by the lively acidity. Spicy ginger and molasses on the finish. Yum.
@Delectable Wine this is number 3, not 9.
