Alkoomi
Frankland River Rosé Blend
Better than last time, definitely a wine to have chilled. A little mute on the nose but has some fresh roses and tropical/citrus notes on the palate. Bright and crisp acidity. Light bodied and moderate length finish.

I do love my rosés, especially when they're nice and dry! My first question about a rosé is, 'what is it made of?'. The list of grapes that rosé can be made of is extensive alongside the techniques to make our fave pink drink. Learn more about rosé here: http://travellingcorkscrew.com.au/rose-wines-guide/
@alkoomiwines from Frankland River in the Great Southern recently sent me this sample (thank you!) of their new release 2016 Rosé which is made from Petite Verdot grapes and retails for approx $15.
On the eye it's a beautiful blush pink, perhaps you could even say a light salmon colour. The nose is light and elegant with red berry fruit enticing you in for a sip alongside a certain creaminess. It's super thirst quenching on the palate with a lovely flavour of strawberry cheesecake and balanced out with lovely lemon acidity. The flavours are delicate and dry yet fresh and bright. Yum!
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine #mediasample

After breathing a day or two in the fridge, it's even better. Would totally buy again.
