Blackberry, strawberry, tar. Plum jam. Wood. Spice is strong. Medium+ and doesn't drink as hot as expected. Heavy charcoal / pit BBQ finish and not very complex on that end of the glass.

Oct 11th, 2020I was expecting (hoping for) more body to this Zinfandel. So it’s a bit on the lighter side, but not a horrible wine by any means. The nose is bursting with enticing scents. More raspberry and vanilla on the tongue. I suspect it may have wanted more time in the bottle. However, I paid only $13.69 for the bottle so comparing the price, I’d say this is a winner! P.S. although I aerated it, I’d let it stand a few minutes longer, the taste is definitely coming out, and it’s better!

Aug 19th, 2020Intense aromas but but but ....nothing else. Overly sweet jammy fruit forward with a weird artificial sugar finish. Hard pass on this.

Jul 5th, 2020Luscious and rich dark berries and plums. A hint of wood and vanilla. Not overpowering like some Zins can be.
