Assyrtiko

Classic Aaasyrtiko. Tiny bit weird and oxi.

Old notes apply, but would add lemon/lime, sea spray.

Odd oxidized color.

Think I’ve had this before. Stony minerality, volcanic soil, lemon zest, floral and bracing acid.

Massive minerality, crushed volcanic rocks and bright lemon curd with floral notes.

Delightful wine - went well with some spicy Indian food.

Largest family owned winery.

Loads of white peach, big texture.

Controlled fermentation.

Really like how light and mineral flavored it was

Called Assyrtiko, but didn’t believe it.

Tight acidity, lemony with minerality. Useful pairing with seafood.
