Time had come for the coup-de-grace at Chateau Vinebuzz in tonight's dinner with asparagus, chanterelles, and a simmered beef sauce over rotelli.

Seems like the perfect amount of bottle age for this wine. Soft and full with a food friendly balance of fruit and earth.

I love this wine but it seems a bit sweeter tonight. Probably should have served it before the tannic Nebbiolo.
