Quite lovely! A little closed the first day, would recommend aerating at this time. Second and third days more giving in the nose. A more elegant, higher toned Crozes-Hermitage. No rustic tannins, more refined.

Absolutely Brilliant. Gorgeous, not a super long termer, but will improve for 2 more yrs. A great Syrah. So pure, soft and sexy.but with structure and acid.

Gorgeous aromatics here, had me from the get go; Ripe blackberry, dark cherry, some floral lift, olive tapenade, smoked paprika, white pepper and charred meat. The palate is vibrant and juicy, with featherweight tannins and judicious length. Cracking drinking

Open and expressive. Spicy and high-toned with tart black fruit, wet clay, and black olive. Really pretty flavors with soft, elegant tannins. Ready to drink

Served: With fallow deer stew served with assorted roots.
Colour: Deep red and almost black in the middle.
Smell: Big smell of forest blackberries and cherries. Tones of bay leaf, perfume. Needs more time to open up.
Taste: Dry, a very nice balance between tannins and fruit with long lasting tannins that gives a nice black pepper flavour.
Rich with dark berries and spices.
A beautiful and tasty syrah!
Let it air for a few hours first to wake up more.
