Ever so slightly off this bottle was, but nonetheless superb. Completely resolved, leather and spice, dark earth tones and light cherry. Just a tangy bit at the back end on an otherwise smooth-as-silk wine.

Shy nose of tobacco-laced leather and red fruit. Feminine, powerful cherry towards strawberry. Fine tail of tannins that linger and call out for red meat. I answered the call.
