Holy cow, delectable users way/way underrated this wine, or perhaps the vintage is the differentiator. Absolutely magnificent, but I decanted too long, 4 hours. Was vibrant at the start, but dinner was four hours away. Super soft tannins in the end, luscious fruit and tight acidic finish. One of my favorite barbera experiences.

Really nice after it opens up. Nice acidity, tobacco and understated red fruits

Excellent, full and dense, creamy but with high acidity and refined structure. Tastes just right and made with more care than most basic Barbera. Just slightly less subtle than the Dolcetto.

Outstanding big body wine. It needs pairing with red meat or cheese, but at ten years it's showing very well. Great acidity and tobacco depth.
