Saturday night and I have opened the 2015 Albert Morot Beaune Teurons Premier Cru Pinot Noir.
On the nose there is abundant red fruit of being cherries, raspberry, strawberry, roasted coconut, rhubarb, vanilla, mint and earth notes.
Upon first sip on the palate there is a tartness but that may be its youthfulness and will wear with age, cherry, raspberry, ripe tomato, truffle, rosemary, beets, green tea, black olive and an earth component.
This wine is medium bodied with medium acidity and mouth coating medium + sandy tannins that leads to a long fresh finish. A nice burgundy that won't break the bank. Enjoy your weekend and please be safe. Nostrovia! ๐ท๐ท๐ท๐ท

Pretty exciting on opening (9.0) but two hours in itโs a bit of a dirge. ๐๐พ. So...the question is...how to approach the remaining 5 in the cellar?
Paired it with a very tasty Beef Bourguignon. (Interesting ginger/white pepper component. ๐ค)
