Alsace Pinot Gris

Seems much more developed than I expected - oily texture - button mushrooms and daffodils. Lemon oil and orange pith at the end. Impressive complexity for a Vin d’Alsace.

Top notch PG. Round and pithy, with great definition. Very citrus focused. Layered, textured, generous. Grippy finish. Excellent.

Really nice white with that perfect acidity. Really the most crucial quality in a white, and it delivers.

Complex yet light white wine. Rounder than the dry rieslings from Alsace. Great cheese wine or just to have on the porch. Could hold up well to spice too.

Much more complex than a standard Pinot Grigio. Peppery on the nose with a lot of minerality on the palate.

Very full palate, but quite expensive

Жимолость, кизил, лайм, ананас, манго, абрикос, апельсин, аптечные травы, сверхлегкий мёд, мокрый камень. Среднее тело, живая кислотность, ощутимый, но не липкий сахар. Нет бесконечной глубины, зато есть щедрая экспрессивность. Интересная фаза развития.
