Alsace Chasselas
Kind of a cross between Riesling and Sauv Blanc imo!

Jul 23rd, 2019First stop on my tour of all the wines I can source from this Alsatian producer. Golden yellow, excellent clarity. Some floral, perfume and maybe lime notes in nose. Soft wine, smooth mouthfeel, slightly tart finish with minor skin astringency. Tart peach and apricot flavors in aftertaste. Otherwise this is a fairly neutral wine in terms of flavor; a touch of citric and maybe lactic acid with minerality dominate. 12.5% alcohol. Only my second tasting of this varietal

Nov 11th, 20162014 Chasselas. Exudes it's Alpine origins with aromas of grassy meadows, tiny white flowers, and raw hazelnut. A sip is dense and bracing and filled with just ripe stone fruit. Begs to be paired with a traditional Raclette feast.
