January 2021. Auction purchase. Small producer. Beautiful color. Earth, cherry, leather. A bit muddy tasting. Not the best Brunello I’ve had, but enjoyable all the same.

Good, but not great. Bright red fruit, prominent acid, round tannins, paired very well with beef filet and sautéed mushrooms. Definitely open for business but still has room to grow.
