Not a negative thing to say. Exactly what a Malbec should be.

A generous amount of red berry and licorice on the nose with the black pepper showing through on the palate. Paired with churrascaria we had for dinner was a good call, but the wine isn't as complex as the variety of meats. Still a fruit forward and delicious wine.

Just ok. The lower priced variety is as good.

Holy hell! This has a putrid nose. A combo of a dirty crotch and dog poo. However, there is a reward waiting if you can get past it. Rich, luscious dark berries. Perfect sweetness.

Smells like dirty V. Doesn't taste much better.

This Malbec comes on a little heavy and puts my head into a pleasant fog. However, it wasn't enough to cloud my judgment on the Fenner's subtle racism in the Princess and the Frog. "A woman of your background"? I know exactly what you're talking about even with my heavy wine head, you cartoon racist. Luckily Tiana gets the last laugh, just as I will with tonight's wine. Delicious!

Very deep, dark, juicy and balanced. Tastes more like a Cab, and lacks some of that Malbec bite. Lots of dark fruits and spice. Complex and drinkable. Definite good buy, but be aware that this is a very smooth Malbec.
