Domaine Grand Veneur Le Miocène Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend

Translucent purple. Nose is crushed strawberries and reapberry leaf. Fruits, herbal and complex. Ripe and yet very well balanced.

Drinking perfectly out of a 375ML right now. Black fruit, tar, wet soil, garrigue all with a very elegant mouthfeel.

My man JDollars (the incomparable) opened at the end of the night because our curiosity got the better; this here is (was) a baby monster full of wonderous textures & rich, precise fruit

Drinking with Mom, Dad, and Emily in France at Alain Jaume! Way more juicy and bright, very delicious and red fruit. Subtle notes in there of leather but it is bold and powerful. Very nice

Fruity acidic red that pairs perfectly with game

A powerhouse at 15%. Sage mine and spices with a right amount of acid on the finish. Fantastic red, give it some time to decant, drinking a little early June 2020.

Just as good the 2nd time around.

Loving this. 2nd bottle, may need more. Nice fruit and a great long finish.
