This has a wonderfully succulent nose. Soft red fruit, that wonderful classy burg depth. On the palate great balance and super fresh for its age. Nice balance at the middle and a good finish. The front is the thing here and the rest is a bit more prosaic s as often is the way with Clos Vougeot, but this is a lovely wine in great shape.

2006 Vintage. Good not great. But definitely not bad. I think slightly corked, but not too noticeable. Happy to be here.
