Nose has vivid-mashed black cherry, sweet cherry, orange zest, wet-charred wood, moist brown bread, roasted green pepper, anise and fresh cigar. The cherry note is intensely perfumed...amazing.

Palate has dried tart cherry, sweet cherry, molasses cookie, blood orange, sweet-roasted red pepper and slight forest floor. Smooth tannins with a long finish. This bottle is drinking at near perfection, a few more years would just be over the top. 🤯

Dark ruby with slight brown edge.

Decanted 3H, then double-decanted for service.
93-94 points, seriously amazing for this level of wine.

Initially very vegetal (green) on initial decant, glad this evolved nicely.

Mid crimson with a purple tinge. A light weight quaffer which drinks to its price point. Actually Australian Pinots for around $50 I would rate higher

Crisp cherry/cranberry fruit, damp earth, wet leaves, sweaty socks, salt, blood orange. Nice little Bourgogne that carries an earthier expression along its focused, acid-driven profile. Soft and delicate tannin, I’m digging it.

Spirited showing, impressive. First rate, full of fruit, earth, funk, minerals. Svelte. This is drinking like a champ

This really punches above its weight class - black cherry and blackberry, spice, fine tannin, medium + acid 🥳

This has basically become my favorite Bourgogne Rouge. I can’t afford to buy the Burgundy that I really want to and love to drink, so I gotta get my fix in other ways and this wine never disappoints. It’s also aging quite well. I bought a tranche of the 15’s a number of years ago and they’re just gorgeous. Incredible pure expression of forest berries that have an almost alpine quality with lovely florals and aromatic herbs all enlivened by nervy acidity and a gorgeous silky texture. I love pretty much all the wines from Hudelot-Noellat.

PnP, very open knit on both the nose and palate. A very easy drinker offering up beautiful well balanced fruit.
