Crozes-Hermitage Blanc Marsanne-Roussanne Blend
So yum…often times I want to like Rhone whites but they lack the brightness I’m always craving… not the case here this beauty is singing with flavors of apricot, chamomile and plenty of minerality!

Jan 17th, 2020I tell ya what, this is a lot more interesting than the Roussanne that we drank a couple weeks ago from Paso Robles. This has the acid that the Villa Creek lacked. There was a nice mix of slightly underripe pineapple, orange peel and honeysuckle. This probably needs a few years in the bottle to be honest. Still, pretty enjoyable and I’ll definitely keep this on my shortlist of northern Rhône whites to keep an eye out for.
