Pale straw-gold. Fresh orange, yellow plum and melon aromas are sharpened by suggestions of dusty minerals and white pepper. Fleshy and broad on entry, then more taut in the mid-palate, offering energetic orchard and pit fruit flavors and an emerging suggestion of fennel. Nicely concentrated but energetic as well, finishing with solid, mineral punch and strong, floral-driven persistence. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, May 2020)

Magnum. Earthy/meaty and awesome. Rustic wild herbs, cured meats, pepper spice, beef jerky, boysenberry and nice acid. Thanks Doug!

I tell ya what, this is a lot more interesting than the Roussanne that we drank a couple weeks ago from Paso Robles. This has the acid that the Villa Creek lacked. There was a nice mix of slightly underripe pineapple, orange peel and honeysuckle. This probably needs a few years in the bottle to be honest. Still, pretty enjoyable and I’ll definitely keep this on my shortlist of northern Rhône whites to keep an eye out for.

I've always liked the red, but the white was a bit of a revelation.

Massively structured, aggressive and reductive. Perfect Graillot.

Almond-ey and floral. Not impressed by this at the moment like I am with Graillot reds. Would be interesting to revisit in a few years to see how it comes together.
