Les Crays Bourgogne Rouge Gamay

Les Crays is Pinot Noir, says server. The vineyard is only Pinot but it presents as gamay with that wild flavor. A pretty version and nice finish. Excellent.

Not much length but great fruit. Raspberry. A little subtle barnyard. Solid!

Smells like grandmas basement in a good way. Funky fruit. Like it’s made from apples

This is on a different level .. don’t let the AOC fool you ..... this is exudes energy, fresh, elegant and gives that sense of fullness ... beautiful nose of primary fruit with hints of smokiness and spice, juicy, linear attack at the front and an elegant round finish at the back ... great value!
