Very good Chianti. Very complex - many layers of fruit. Long finish, great balance. Most amazingly a total steal. Wine Spectator Top 100 2018, 94 points. I am not quite there, but let this wine rest a little. Glad I bought a case :-).

A little acrid, not particularly interesting or deep.

Really exactly what I'm looking for when I want a good bottle of wine.

Glad I bought as much as I could of this 2016. In fact I should have taken more. The wine had too strong acidity on opening. After 1 hour of decanting and with the temperature rising the fruit took up space. Ripe fruit on cherries and blackberries. An aftertaste of herbs and tobacco. A fairly good length ... still young and will be very beautiful in 5 to 6 years

Borderline 8. Can’t decide if it is pleasant. Goes in and out. Not much fragrance. Very dry with bitter aftertaste. Not worth the $14.95 price. Can’t understand the high ratings.

Sivv absolutely hates it. But I didn’t think it was that bad. I’m just not sure I’d get it again.

Had 2016 with Neapolitan pizza and a burrata. Was fantastic! Super light and totally enjoyable. Would definitely buy again.

Just had the 2016 here in May 2019. It went great with homemade pasta, homemade sauce, store-bought meatballs. Probably one of the best Chiantis that I’ve had. Will definitely buy this again.

Not quite the 94 point Wine Spectator rating but a pretty damn good wine for the $14.99 price. Classic Tuscan notes of sour cherries and plum skin, dried earth, tobacco and spice. Impeccably balanced with juicy acidity and well integrated tannins after decanting. Definitely got more secondary characteristics and complexity on the palette on night two as well. Will be picking up a few more of these.
