Light as a feather. DRY. Happy New Year with tasting group. Thank you Chris Howell.

Fresh baguette, salinity, minerality, pepper on the nose. Brioche came through slowly on the palate, finishes with caramelized toast 😋 zero dosage.

2008. It's all autolytic and chalky-citrus character today. But there is so much more complexity in this wine that will only to be uncovered with time. This wine is stacked and built for the long haul.

2007 vintage. At Boca di Lupo. Medium lemon hue. Heavy patisserie, slight oxidative notes, ripe stone fruits and lemon peel, some nutty notes. Wow. On the palate, dry, medium plus fresh acidity, medium body, lemon curd rich and deep concentration of flavour. Fairly long finish. Reminds me of NV Selosse Substance. Drink now until 2023.

My first Venus. OMG. Balance and depth. And hints of maturity. Extraordinary with the food.

Spectacular! Bright, focused and an unbelievable concentration. Made from their best parcels in Avize & named after the horse that plows the soil. Absolutely stunning.

So pretty and clean, very light and effervescent on the palate. Showed wonderful citrus notes and mineral tones.
