Is there anything better than sharing a good bottle of champagne with a friend? Yes. Sharing a great bottle of champagne with someone as you become good friends. The flavors of nostalgia and memories of childhood pair so well with the gorgeous seawater, brioche, lemon pith and wet chalkboard minerality of Champagne, as expressed by Pascal Agrapart, organic maestro of limestone, and in this case Chardonnay. One of my favorite champagnes.

Young! Great clarity, subtle yet highly impactful with its acid spine. I suspect this will really come around with some time to flesh out. Captures the finesse that makes Agrapart such a benchmark for Avize. 5/2017 disgorgement
