Vintage 2015 | From 50+ years old Chenin Blanc grown on Schist. Modest colour not giving away the age of the wine. A bit shy in smell, the characteristics are all here: hay, minerals, hints of honey. Quite powerful taste, I’d say for acquired tasters, good balance with a lot of bitters. As beautiful as difficult. 🫶

Sep 24th, 2025Vintage 2015 / Paired with a salmon tartare with Puy lentils / beautiful smell that gives more and more while nosing and tasting. Mandarins, ananas and minerals in smell. Flint. A vague impression of honey, always characteristic for chenin blanc. Juicy taste. Very quaffable. Also good with my fish (Limande) ánd French cheese (Cantal). Makes happy.

Also an impression of honey. Good acidity. Well balanced. Good effort of Agnès and René Mosse. From #anjou but #vindefrance. Partnered it with red gurnard and a tomatosauce, then with cheeses.

Great acidity, but very round and textural on the palette. Savory. Bruised apples and Anjou pears. Hints of camomile and great minerality. No RS.

Holy crap. This is fantastic. Bringing the funk from Chenin, but clean and crisp at the same time. Crazy good.
