Also red cherry up front, but more restrained than the 2017, tannins are better integrated and less drying, fruit is a little riper and lusher, this should easily cellar 3-5 more years, this is a really terrific Alsatian Pinot Noir!!

Effusive red cherry initially, followed with some earthy, mineral aromas and flavors, still a bit of tannic structure showing in the long, lingering finish, I’d guess this should be better with another few years of cellaring.

Floral, red fruits, still a bit structured and tannic, lovely balance, long, lingering finish, needs further cellaring, should work great with grilled wild Puget Sound salmon!!

Dark fruited aromas and flavors, this still shows a quite firm structure, long, lingering finish, this needs further cellaring, very fine Alsatian Pinot Noir!!

Lovely cherry fruit, ripe and medium-bodied, excellent balance, lingering finish, very fine Alsatian Pinot Noir. Served with our first of this year Copper River (Alaska) wild sockeye salmon!!

Drank over 2 days, nice fruit, spices and pepper notes on the nose and palate, fresh, savoury and medium to light intensity but with fine grained tannins, very nice and a good QPR. 89-90
