Duas Quintas Douro Red Blend

Muddled scents… little stands out. Some dark fruits, spices, leather. Drinks dense and dark, medium bodied but thick tannins. Doesn’t taste like a lot? Lower end stuff that’s passable if you’re on a budget and just really want some wine. Next time, I’ll go for the beer.

Smell: distinct smell of soy sauce combined with multiple kinds of woods and hints of tobacco.
Taste: very nice taste of black fruits blackberry and plum. Medium sweetness with low acidity and medium tannins.
Appearance: full bodied clear liquid with a garnet deep intense color.
Conclusion: very good Portuguese wine

The aroma was very strong, and it masked the way I was able to perceive the wine. The notes came in inky and plum, but I had a hard time with it because of the smell.

Dark color, tart- gave me goosebumps, sits on your tongue, not for me

quick legs, smells like raisin - very warm smelling, deep blood color
oaky, full body, acidic - can definitively taste the tannins lol
not sweet, not tart, not a fan

Fruit forward, dark fruits, pretty rich and round, very enjoyable with a lovely Epoisses-like runny English cheese called St. Cera.

Great medium to heavy red. Smooth goes great with meat

A little tannin, still easy to drink, delightful with braised pork cheek and cheese
