Adega Regional de Colares
Arenæ Colares Malvasia
Previous reviewer nailed it. Viscous, oxidative but somehow still stimulates rather than stifles the palate.

May 20th, 2019Funky bottle shapes and sizes get to me, and Colares’ 600mL bottle always make me smile. The wine inside is just as cool and unique. Dark straw color with an apple and herbaceous nose. An oily, thicker texture that coats my whole mouth. Not flabby though. Salty sea air, tropical fruits, golden apples, slight oxidation. Complex and fun.
