2011 Poor man's Priorat!

For a cheap red from Catalunya it ain't half bad. Red fruits and earth and black pepper dominate the nose, while the palate shows off the earth and pepper well.

Albert is making some really nice wines these days. Dry tannins on this one

Blackberry, smoke, and raspberry. Fruity but still a bit zippy.

Big blackberry and syrup. Slight burnt off taste on finish, but overall a solid glass.

Ripe cherry, licorice. Well balanced

Tannic, huge, raspberries

Kieran and marinas

Dark fruit, spice, tar, earthy. Full bodied but dry and nice acid. Great blend
