Accornero
Bricco del Bosco Grignolino Monferrato Casalese

Never had this before. (I still don’t know what it is).
Super light. Fruity on the nose.
A nice change up.

Bright, lifted red fruits like sour cherry, raspberry, cranberry, red apple. High acid, very herbaceous. Needs fatty foods like pork, beef or lamb tartare, salumi and cheese. Chill it slightly like you would Gamay.

When I first poured it out of the bottle, I thought it was coloured water. I quickly realized I needed to chill it slightly before enjoying it. Dry cherry blasters. So light. Not bad though. Real Italians in Italy love this kind of thing.

A grape from Piemonte I didn’t know, apparantly lost but coming up again due to the younger generation winemakers. I’m in! Transparant in colour, gamay like taste and very light on it’s feet. But it’s a silent killer with it’s 14,5%. Very pleasant surprise!
